Seven Hills Hospital in Las Vegas offers compassionate, medically supervised and assisted stabilization and treatment programs for adults and adolescents in the midst of an acute psychiatric episode. The goal of this short-term, intensive treatment program is to restore the individual’s immediate safety and sense of well-being. Once this has been achieved, the healing process and more intensive treatment can begin.
As with every treatment service Seven Hills Hospital offers in our programs, psychiatric stabilization begins with an assessment of the patient’s history, current symptoms and the possible involvement of any medications or underlying medical conditions. Consideration is always given to the unique mental, emotional, and physical needs of each individual. Once an appropriate treatment plan is developed by our board-certified psychiatrists, the patient is stabilized in a safe, intensely therapeutic environment. Addiction and mental health treatment and programming at our Las Vegas location may continue in our facility, or in an outpatient setting, after the goals of stabilization have been achieved.
