Seven Hills Hospital helps individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse disorders build a strong foundation for lasting recovery through a variety of flexible programming options. We offer partial hospitalization programming for adolescents and adults, and we offer intensive outpatient programming for adults.
Flexible Outpatient Services
Seven Hills Hospital provides outpatient services which include a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for adults and adolescents and an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders. Both programs have a separate mental health and chemical dependency track. Our PHP and IOP may be appropriate for patients making the transition from inpatient services to a once a week outpatient appointment. It can also be an alternative for patients who do not need to stay in the hospital, but need a daily effective treatment environment for a brief period of time.
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) and intensive outpatient program (IOP) provide short-term treatment designed to help individuals with acute psychiatric problems. For PHP, treatment occurs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. IOP treatment occurs 3 days a week (between Monday and Friday) from 9:00 a.m. to noon. These programs are staffed by a multidisciplinary group of providers. The duration of treatment is determined by a patient’s specific needs as identified by the patient and his or her providers. The average course of treatment is two weeks.
Effective Services & Groups
After completing a day of treatment, individuals return home for the evening. This minimizes disruption to their daily routines, maintains uninterrupted support of family and friends, and facilitates learning by encouraging the immediate practice of newly acquired coping skills.
